Based on a variety of data points it collects, Data Advantage cited hospitals in Amsterdam, N.Y., Bangor, Maine, Billings, Mont., Charlotte, N.C., Clarksburg, W.Va., Dothan, Ala., Dubuque, Iowa, Minden, La., Pittsburgh, Pa., and Tawas City, Mich., as delivering some of the best values in the nation.

The finding is part of Data Advantage’s 2009-2010 Hospital Value Index, which it will release on September 15.
