Massachusetts ranked as the healthiest state in the U.S. last year, according to a report published May 25 by digital health company Sharecare in partnership with the Boston University School of Public Health.

A new ranking from the Lown Institute, a nonpartisan healthcare think tank, examines racial inclusivity of more than 3,200 U.S. hospitals to assess which are best at serving the people of color in their communities.

California has the most healthcare employees of any U.S. state, according to a ranking Kaiser Family Foundation released May 24.
