Boston Children’s Hospital. Boston Children’s Hospital was ranked by U.S. News & World Report as the top pediatric hospital for neurology and neurosurgery for 2016-17. The neurology department at Boston Children’s is staffed by more than 60 child neurologists, 10 neuropsychologists and psychologists and 30 nurses and nurse practitioners. The hospital also offers patients and families a resource center staffed by family support specialists, pediatric psychologists and social workers with guidance from a parent advisory committee. In 1929, Boston Children’s Hospital became the first pediatric hospital in the United States to launch a department completely dedicated to child neurology.
