Best states for women’s health equality

Hawaii is the top state for women’s health and education equality, WalletHub found Aug. 19.

WalletHub compared all 50 states on three dimensions — workplace environment, education and health, and political empowerment. The scores were weighted and graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the most favorable conditions for women’s equality. For education and health, WalleHub looked at gender disparity in advanced educational attainment, disparity in math test scores and disparity in physician-visit affordability.

Here are states ranked by women’s education and health, along with their overall score:
