Aurora BayCare Medical Center (Green Bay, Wis.). This 167-bed hospital serves the Green Bay area as well as communities in northeastern Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. It is a joint venture of Milwaukee-based Aurora Health Care and BayCare Clinic, a physician-owned specialty care clinic based in Green Bay, established in 2001. It has a medical staff of more than 200 and employs more than 1,000 non-physicians. The hospital has twice been named one of Truven Health Analytics’ 100 Top Hospitals, in 2009 and in 2015, and has earned various Healthgrades awards through the years, including the Outstanding Patient Experience Award each year since 2013.
