6 hospitals among America’s 25 best employers for women

Hospitals and health systems across the nation made Forbes‘ annual list of best employers for women, and six provider organizations were ranked among the top 25.

To compile the annual ranking of America’s best employers for women, Forbes and market research company Statista surveyed 60,000 Americans, including 40,000 women. Each person surveyed worked for a company with at least 1,000 employees.

Here are the six hospitals and health systems that earned a spot among the top 25 companies liked most by female workers, along with their ranking:

No. 9: Cincinnati Children’s

No. 13: Providence Health & Services (Renton, Wash.)

No. 14: Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minn.)

No. 15: University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics (Iowa City)

No. 16: Oregon Health & Science University (Portland)

No. 23: Penn Medicine (Philadelphia)
