Florida is the best state to open a new business while Rhode Island is the worst, according to WalletHub.

The personal finance website compared the states in three dimensions: business environment, access to resources and business costs. Each dimension used 25 relevant metrics that were graded on a 100-point scale, with 100 representing the most favorable conditions for a new business. Read more about the methodology here.
