Montana is the best state for physicians, according to an annual analysis by WalletHub.

To select the best and worst states for physicians in 2019, WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia on 18 metrics, including physicians' annual wage, physicians' starting salary, hospitals per capita and the percentage of hospital's with "A" safety grades.
