Washington is the best state for jobs, according to an analysis by WalletHub.

For the analysis, WalletHub compared the 50 states across the dimensions of job market and economic environment. Within the job market dimension were key indicators including job opportunities, employment growth, unemployment rate and job satisfaction. The economic environment dimension included indicators such as median annual income, monthly average starting salary, average commute time, and average length of workweek. Overall, job market indicators carried more weight than economic environment indicators in determining the best and worst states for jobs.

7. Vermont
8. Massachusetts

10. Texas
