10 best online MBA programs, per Fortune

The pandemic proliferated the interest and accessibility of online learning prompting Fortune to release its rankings of the best online business schools for the second time, April 6.

To rank the 108 programs, Fortune looked at factors such as retention rate, number of alumni in the C-suite of Fortune 1000 companies, brand reputation of the programs and academic prowess of the incoming students. Using those metrics, it then placed all the programs in order.

Here are the top 10 schools for online MBA programs:

  2. Indiana University – Bloomington (Kelley)
  3. University of Florida (Hough)
  4. University of Maryland – College Park (Smith)
  5. University of Pittsburgh (Katz)

  8. University of Massachusetts – Amherst (Isenburg)
  9. West Texas A&M
  10. University of Arizona (Eller)
