US Radiology Specialists expands technician training curriculum

Raleigh, N.C.-based private radiology group, US Radiology Specialists, has expanded its Technologist Advancement Academy training program to offer mammography.

Nineteen technologists have already graduated from the program and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, according to an Oct. 10 news release from the company. Twenty-seven more technologists are currently pursuing MRI and CT registries.

The program was launched with training and education provider San Diego, Calif.-based Mammography Educators.
