Galveston-based University of Texas Medical Branch has tapped Max Wintermark, MD, as chair of the department of radiology at the John Sealy School of Medicine.
Dr. Wintermark will step into the role April 1, according to a Feb. 26 news release from the university.
He most recently served as professor and chair of neuroradiology at Houston-based University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
