Philadelphia system taps radiology director for 3 hospitals

Caryn Karff was named administrative director of radiology for Fox Chase Cancer Center, Temple University Hospital-Jeanes Campus and Temple Health-Chestnut Hill Hospital, all based in Philadelphia, according to a March 4 system news release.

She will oversee approximately 150 employees and all radiology services for the hospitals, an outpatient location in Blue Bell, Pa., and a mobile mammography van. This includes oversight of mammography, nuclear medicine, MRI, CT scan, interventional radiology, and general X-ray, she told Becker’s.

She stepped into her role Nov. 11.

Previously, Ms. Karff served as the director of radiology clinical operations for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
