Northwell opens $6M radiology suite

New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health has opened a $6 million interventional radiology suite at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, also in New Hyde Park. 

The suite is the hospital’s third and includes a Philips Azurion 7 image-guided therapy system, according to an April 10 news release from Northwell. 

In addition to rotational capabilities, the system allows for more advanced cancer biopsies and neurointerventions, the release said.
