Box Butte General Hospital in Alliance, Neb., has expanded its diagnostic imaging services through a partnership with Casper Medical Imaging.
The agreement introduces new software to enhance breast cancer detection and adds patient risk assessment tools to improve care planning, according to an April 7 news release from the hospital. Diagnostic mammography services now are available four days a week.
The hospital said the partnership also supports faster results through telehealth, allowing patients to review imaging findings more quickly with radiologists.
Box Butte General will continue offering fluoroscopy services and is adding access to subspecialty radiologists across breast imaging, neuroradiology and musculoskeletal imaging.
The expansion also includes staff training opportunities and facility upgrades, including a remodeled ultrasound room to support expanded services.
