Highest, lowest radiology visit costs per CMS

Medicare costs for new patient office visits can reach up to $222.64 for both diagnostic and interventional radiology care, according to CMS data released Aug. 8.

Office visit costs for new and established patients were the same across interventional and diagnostic radiology. 

New patient diagnostic and interventional radiology office visit costs are:

  • Minimum: $51.36 to $71.34
  • Maximum: $157.74 to $222.64
  • Most frequent: $98.98 to $100.31 

Established patient diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology office visit costs are:

  • Minimum: $16.15 to $24.02
  • Maximum: $128.78 to $181.48
  • Most frequent: $64.56 to $90.41
