The American College of Radiology has elected new leadership during its 2026 annual meeting.
Alan Matsumoto, MD, was elected president, while David Larson, MD, was elected vice president, according to a May 4 news release. Both will assume their roles May 6. The elections were held as part of ACR 2026, the organization’s annual meeting in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Matsumoto previously served as chair of the ACR Board of Chancellors and has held multiple leadership roles within the organization. Dr. Larson most recently served as chair of the ACR Commission on Quality and Safety and is involved in several education and improvement initiatives.
