Lawmakers from the state House and Senate reached agreement in a compromise bill and passed it to the governor's desk last week.
The bill could save up to $200 billion in healthcare spending over the next 15 years by putting more resources toward the creation of accountable care organizations and ensuring the rate of healthcare spending doesn't exceed that of the state economy.
