Yale student quarantined for mumps shares experience on Snapchat

One of two students at Yale University in New Haven, Conn., quarantined for the mumps in November 2016, documented the experience via the social media platform Snapchat.

According to Yale News, Tarek Zaid identified himself as one of the quarantined students via Facebook.

"Yeah, it was a little rough being quarantined two weeks before finals. But I got a lot of help from my college dean and teachers with getting all my work in," Mr. Zaid wrote via Facebook Messenger, according to The Daily Dot. "Basically I just slept, ate, did homework, or went on my computer (I was able to have a visitor bring my laptop)."
