The Joint Commission Center for Transforming Healthcare names Anne Marie Benedicto VP

The Joint Commission Center for Transforming Healthcare appointed Anne Marie Benedicto its new vice president, effective immediately. Most recently, Ms. Benedicto was assistant vice president of hospital operations at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.

Prior to Montefiore Medical Center, Ms. Benedicto was chief of staff and executive vice president of support operations for The Joint Commission for seven years. She was instrumental in building The Joint Commission’s Robust Process Improvement program and oversaw the launch of the first external Robust Process Improvement training engagement.

Ms. Benedicto holds a master’s degree in public policy and administration as well as in public health from Columbia University in New York City.
