The following people were named to leadership positions:
• Rebecca Patchin, MD, as 2013 chair of the board of commissioners.
• Craig Jones as vice chair of the board of commissioners.
• J.B. Silvers, PhD, as treasurer of the board of commissioners.
• LaMar S. McGinnis, MD, as secretary of the board of commissioners. Dr. McGinnis was also named 2013 chair of the board of directors of Joint Commission Resources, a non-profit affiliate of The Joint Commission.
• David Perrott, MD, DDS, as executive committee member-at-large of the board of commissioners.
• David Bronson, MD, as executive committee member-at-large of the board of commissioners.
• Clarion E. Johnson, M.D as vice chair of the board of directors of JCR.
• Kenneth D. Bloem as an external member of the JCR board of directors.
• John W. Bluford as an external member of the JCR board of directors.
