The study compared the nosocomial infection markers of a three-month period before staffwide use of Germ Pro hand sanitizing lotion and disinfectant spray, and a three-month period during the products’ use. The hospital saw a reduction in infection of 43 percent and estimated annual cost savings of more than $1 million.
