Study: Men More Likely to Wash Hands When Exposed to Hand Hygiene Poster

Male college students who were exposed to a poster about men’s hand washing behavior were more likely to wash their hands than their counterparts who were not exposed to the poster, according to a study in Human Communication Research.

Researchers studied the hand washing behavior of 252 men aged 18 to 62 who used a men’s restroom at a large college campus in the Midwestern U.S.
