Study: ED Infection Control Compliance Improves With Education, Feedback

Emergency department nurses who received education and real-time feedback were more likely to comply with processes to reduce the risk of peripheral venous catheter-associated infections than they were before the education intervention, according to a study in American Journal of Infection Control.

Researchers implemented an educational intervention in a 72-bed ED over 12 months.
