Spectra254 will show several products at the AORN Surgical Conference & Expo, including the 1000 Series whole room decontamination system and the RDS-30 for small electronic devices. Together, these devices provide a complete UVC disinfection solution for the perioperative market.

“Eliminating healthcare acquired infections at each and every step of a patient’s treatment and care is the goal of all infection control efforts,” said Dennis Boyle, President of Spectra254. “Our devices provide a complete solution to eliminate MRSA, C. difficile and other super bugs, whether they originate in a patient room or the operating room.”

The Spectra 1000 Series system is designed for the rapid deployment and decontamination of hospital patient rooms, emergency rooms and the OR suite. The RDS-30 is designed to rapidly decontaminate electronic devices that are shared across healthcare teams, including tablets, keyboards, cell phones, TV remote controls and other devices.

Spectra254 has recently been recognized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s Anti-Microbial Division as a certified producer of anti-microbial devices, under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), a U.S. federal law that determines pesticide regulation in order to protect applicators, consumers and the environment.

The AORN Surgical Conference & Expo brings together doctors, nurses and facility managers focused on the perioperative suite. More than 5,000 people are expected to attend this year’s conference. Spectra254 will be exhibiting in booth 1866.

Spectra254’s manufacturing facility is an EPA-certified Pesticide Device Producing Establishment, #092017-CT-00. Full product line details are available at www.spectra254.com, by calling 203-796- 5315 direct or through emailing sales@spectra254.com.
