The paint is EPA-registered and tested, and Sherwin-Williams says it will remain effective up to four years after application. The paint could be an effective tool for inhibiting the spread of bacteria commonly linked to hospital-acquired infections.
Sherwin-Williams expects the paint to be available in the first quarter of 2016 and to come in 590 colors.
