The SHEA/ERF Public Health Scholarships will provide a $1,500 award to each of the scholarship winners. The funds will cover the expense of attending the program, which will include training from SHEA members who are infection prevention/antibiotic stewardship team leaders. The scholarship is open to healthcare professionals who work in public health facilities and agencies.
Additionally, scholarship winners will receive complimentary registration for the SHEA Spring 2018 Conference: Science Guiding Prevention in Portland, Ore., April 18 to 20.
Applications for the scholarships are due Jan. 31.
