Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen said that the current Senate health reform proposal could cost the state $735 million over five years if completed, according to a report by The Tennessean.
The current national proposal is expected to cost $900 billion over 10 years to expand health coverage. The bill also includes significant changes to Medicare and Medicaid and would impose new taxes and fees, according to the report.
