The public service channel will have updates and health tips for fighting the outbreak. The channel will feature programming focused on the new coronavirus from SiriusXM’s Doctor Radio, run by NYU Langone Health’s infectious disease and clinical experts. The channel will be available to SiriusXM subscribers and nonsubscribers.
NYU Langone Health and SiriusXM also is creating a 24/7 coronavirus information hotline that will provide callers with answers to questions about the COVID-19 threat.
The channel launches March 6 at 6 p.m. and will be available on the radio, on the SiriusXM app and on SiriusXM.com. Callers can dial 877-40COVID for the hotline.
