New York Hospital Grounds Smoke-Free, Residential Facilities to Follow

Hospitals in New York will be required to go smoke-free in less than three months, after a bill banning smoking on hospital and residential healthcare facilities grounds was signed into law by Gov. Thomas Cuomo, according to a report from the Chappaqua-MountKisco Patch.

The legislation comes after New York City’s 2009 hospital-grounds smoking ban.
