HHS Recognizes 400+ Hospitals, Transplant Centers for Organ Donation Efforts

HHS has recognized more than 400 hospitals and transplant centers for their voluntary efforts to promote organ donation as part of phase three for the Workplace Partnership for Life Hospital Organ Donation Campaign.

To date, the campaign has resulted in 327,659 donor designations. It has also surpassed its goal of adding 300,000 enrollments to state donor registries.

The hospitals worked closely with their organ procurement organizations and Donate Life America affiliates to educate and register new donors.
