For the week ending Nov. 4, 1,962 patients with laboratory-confirmed flu cases were admitted to a hospital — up from 1,607 the week prior.

- A total of 46 states are still reporting minimal to low flu activity, though cases are rising across the country.
- Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, Washington D.C., and Alabama are the only areas reporting moderate flu activity at this time.
- As of Nov. 4, influenza A accounted for a total of 77.1% of cases, while 22.9% were influenza B.
