Press Ganey Updates Measure Summaries for Patient Satisfaction in Medical Practice Setting

Press Ganey has submitted to the National Quality Measures Clearinghouse four updated measure summaries and two new measure summaries for patient satisfaction in the medical practice settings.

The National Quality Measures Clearinghouse is a public resource for evidence-based quality measures and measure sets. The measure summaries, which are designed to quantify patients’ experiences during physician visits, are as follows:

1. Mean section score for “Access” questions on the Medical Practice Survey. (This updates a previously published measure summary.)

 

2. Mean section score for “Care Provider” questions on the Medical Practice Survey. (This updates a previously published measure summary.)

3. Mean section score for “Moving Through Your Visit” questions on the Medical Practice Survey.   

4. Mean section score for “Nurse/Assistant” questions on the Medical Practice Survey.   

5. Mean section score for “Overall Assessment” questions on the Medical Practice Survey. (This updates a previously published measure summary.)

6. Mean section score for “Personal Issues” questions on the Medical Practice Survey. (This updates a previously published measure summary.)
