Press Ganey Announces Institute for Innovation

Press Ganey has announced the creation and launch of its new nonprofit research collaborative, Institute for Innovation, a research collaborative dedicated to bettering patient care.

The Institute will work to advance the science of improvement in healthcare settings. Specific areas of research include efficacy of best practices, coordination of care, key drivers of variation and shared decision-making.

Board members of the Institute for Innovation include executive director Dierdre Mylod, PhD, Press Ganey CMO Thomas H. Lee, MD, and Cleveland Clinic Chief Experience Officer James Merlino, MD. The Institute is also guided by a founding executive council comprised of 21 hospital and health system leaders.
