Patients at Far Greater Risk of Dying Due to Medical Errors Than Plane Crashes

Liam Donaldson of the World Health Organization said patients face a 1 in 300 chance of dying from a medical error, compared to a 1 in 10 million chance of dying in an airplane crash, according to a Reuters report.
