Patient safety tool: Updated AHRQ Quality Indicator toolkit

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality has updated its Quality Indicators Toolkit for Hospitals.

The toolkit offers hospitals resources to improve quality and safety by understanding and using AHRQ’s quality indicators. The quality indicators use hospital administrative data to assess the care quality, identify areas of concern and monitor progress over time.

The updated toolkit includes best practices for six more patient safety and quality indicators.
