Patient safety tool: CDC’s Ebola resources

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are offering four new Ebola-related resources for hospitals and health systems to further understand and address Ebola protocols.

The new resources include the following:

  • A video on the proper use of personal protective equipment, produced in partnership with Medscape
  • A list of considerations for clinicians when evaluating whether to discharge a person under investigation for Ebola
  • An infographic outlining differences in flu and Ebola symptoms
  • Answers to FAQs
