The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses offers a fire safety toolkit to help train perioperative team members to prevent surgical fires.

The kit includes a fire prevention slideshow available for anyone to download for free. Other resources that are available to AORN members include risk assessment tools and instructions on how to run a fire drill.
