Vanderbilt University School of Nursing has partnered with workforce development platform HealthStream to roll out microlearning courses to which nurses nationwide will have access.
The library of microlearning courses is meant to advance nurses’ clinical skills and support leadership development, according to a Dec. 4 news release from the Nashville, Tenn.-based school.
The courses were created by Vanderbilt faculty and focus on topics ranging from trauma-informed communication to motivational approaches to behavior change.
The effort is part of the school’s Office of External Learning program, which aims to give working nurses access to Vanderbilt’s expertise through conferences, learning sessions and online events, the release said.
