Survey Finds Nurses, PAs Happier Than Physicians

Nurses and physician assistants have significantly higher overall wellbeing scores than physicians, according to QuantiaMD’s Physician Wellbeing Index.

The survey examines overall wellbeing by assessing physician, mental, financial and social health.

The findings highlight the need for better work/life balance to improve physicians’ wellbeing. Physicians in the study cited long work days, job-related stress, reduced reimbursements and less time with family as concerns.
