The schools chosen to receive funding are Clemson University, the University of South Carolina in Columbia, the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, Greenville Technical College and Midlands Technical College in Columbia.
Four of the programs will begin in January, but the University of South Carolina Upstate began its program in September.
