Ms. Leopoldo used in vitro fertilization and learned she was pregnant just four days after her sister, who got pregnant “easily,” Ms. Leopoldo told ABC News.
“When we approached the doctor about having the babies on the same day, he said it was fine, they were the same gestational age and due within a week of one another,” Ms. Crawford told “Good Morning America,” according to ABC News.
“For the three days we were in the hospital and we were in each other’s rooms all the time, ” Ms. Crawford told ABC News.
The family already calls the newborn boys “twinousins.”
