Washington, Mo.-based Patients First Health Care has signed two agreements with St. Louis-based SSM Health Care to explore the possibility of a partnership, according to a St. Louis Business Journal report.
In the first agreement, the two parties agreed to a 110-day, non-binding agreement to explore a cancer care partnership. The second is for the two entities to explore the possibility of a clinically-integrated, value-based delivery network.
Patients First, which was founded in 2000 with only a dozen physicians and is now led by 89, is also building a three-bed hospital in Washington.
