Broad sanitation efforts by the university and hired professionals are continuing. Hydrogen peroxide wipes have been distributed to residence hall kitchens, lobbies and lounges.

This recent report of potential infections adds to a series of university norovirus outbreaks since February, including hundreds of cases at Miami University of Ohio in Oxford, the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa. Health officials have also reported dozens of cases at Oregon State University in Corvallis and the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

More information on norovirus is available from the CDC here.
