The Finest Care program will offer members of the New York City Police Department free, confidential behavioral health services such as regular outpatient therapy sessions and medications when clinically appropriate.
Clinicians from the following hospitals will participate:
- NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center (New York City)
- NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center (New York City)
- NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Division (White Plains, N.Y.)
The NYPD has allocated $1.2 million to fund the program. The Police Foundation provided an initial $150,000.
