The passengers were reportedly suffering from a gastrointestinal illness. Cleaning crews spent Dec. 17 sanitizing the ship prior to a new set of passengers coming aboard.
“[T]he 332 cases represent fewer than 6 percent of the more than 5,500 guests on board,” said the cruise line in a statement obtained by CBS Miami.
