Infographic: How US healthcare spend, quality ranks internationally

The United States government spends more than $9,200 per capita for healthcare, but is it using that budget effectively compared to other countries? Evidently not, according to a new infographic from Medigo, an online marketplace for medical tourism.

Medigo used healthcare spending data from the World Health Organization and outcome factors such as infant mortality rates, disability-adjusted life years and health-adjusted life expectancy from the Economist Intelligence Unit to produce its rankings.
