Mount Nittany Medical Center Opens Completed ED

State College, Pa.-based Mount Nittany Medical Center has completed the second phase of its emergency department expansion and the entire facility is now open to patients, according to a State College report.

The 56,000-square-foot addition features 48 new rooms, two trauma bays, a new MRI suite and four private patient rooms designed for patients with behavioral health needs, according to the report.
