Illinois Public Health Officials Turn Down Investigation of 85% of Hospital Complaints in 2010

Due to lack of sufficient funding, the Illinois Department of Public Health declined to investigate 85 percent of 560 complaints it received last year regarding hospital quality, according to a Chicago Tribune report.
