Two public hearings on the plan will be held this week.
Under the proposal, Medicaid beneficiaries could choose between two or more privately managed ACOs. The Medicaid program would pay the managed care providers a lump monthly sum based on the health status of the enrollees assigned to
each ACO, and providers could share in any cost savings achieved.
